The 2009 Univest Grand Prix series included a team time trial on Friday, September 11 in Allentown, the Univest Grand Prix on Saturday, September 12 in Souderton and surrounding communities, and the Univest Criterium of Doylestown on Sunday, September 13. The Univest Grand Prix is one of only thirteen Union Cyclist International (UCI)-ranked professional road cycling competitions for men in the United States. More than 150 professional riders from over a dozen countries competed.

The race featured live television coverage on WFMZ-69 and a summary program broadcast later on Comcast SportsNet. Spectators in Souderton were treated to live jumbo screen TV coverage. You can watch the race webcast on-demand. The recreational Cyclosportif 100K ride, children's races, regional foods, and a family fair made the Univest Grand Prix a community celebration.
